I really enjoyed this experience.

Joy from 2013

Which events or activities did you find the most satisfying and why?

The Kamakura trip because I enjoyed all the historic places we were able to see. To learn about the ways of life back then in Japan was amazing.

Why did you select this program?

I felt that this program was going to fit everything I wanted in a study abroad, and I was right this program is amazing.

What were the most productive and interesting aspects of the program for you? The least interesting and productive?

Everything was a experience for me. All of this program was amazing.

What activities or materials did you find most helpful (e.g., pair work, drill practice, tests, small group sessions, textbooks, games)?

I found the pair work with the students who don't speak English to be helpful because I have no choice but to speak Japanese.

Any suggestions for improving class activities or materials?

I thought the ways of teaching and all the activities were great. No improvement needed. Keep up the good work.

Any other comments or suggestions?

I really enjoyed this experience. To see another country and learn the ways of life as which they live is a experience that I will carry with me into my next chapter in life.

Testimonials

In general, I think the KCP program is really great and I’m very glad I decided to do it. It was a lot of work, but I learned a lot, met many interesting people from all over the world, and got to have a very different experience of Japan than the normal tourist.
